  • The side will take on Damac on Saturday

Cristiano Ronaldo inspired Al Nassr to an exceptional performance in the Saudi Pro League as they thrashed Abha 8-0. Placed 17th in the league table, Abha had little chance to recover from al-Nassr’s barrage of attacks. The side took a 5-0 lead in the first half only with CR7 netting the three goals for his side. Sadio Mane and Al Sulaiheem added one each to put Al-Nassr’s side in control of the match.

In the second half, coach Luis Castro opted to rest Ronaldo and Mane. But that didn’t affect the attacking flow. Though finishing took a slight hit, a brace from Al Aliwa and the 51-minute strike from Ghareeb ensured all three points with domination for the Al-Nassr team.
